Each invitation is letterpress printed by hand on handmade paper—creating a tactile impression your guests will feel the moment they open the envelope.
Every design has been refined to perfection, then personalized with your colors, your wording, and your vision—so it feels entirely your own.
Your invitations should feel like heirlooms, not waste
“Sally & her work is absolutely incredible. From the get go, she was prompt, kind, transparent, and understanding: all the things that a bride truly needs! Every single guest who has received my invitations has told me they are some of the most beautiful and special paper goods they've ever seen. Honestly, every time I look at them I squeal because I just can't get over how gorgeous they are!”

“Hands down, one of the best choices we made in our eco chic wedding planning journey! We wanted the feel of a traditional invite with a reduced environmental impact. We loved the quality of Sal's work and our guests loved the gesture to "let love grow" with seed paper invites. 10/10 recommend!”

"I wish I had adequate words to describe the feeling my wedding invitations give me…giddy? Elated? Obsessed? They are simply perfection. I'm receiving multiple texts from my guests stating how enchanted they are and excited for our destination wedding."
"giddy. elated. obsessed."

a little about me
I'm Sally, and I run Terra Paper Company from my studio in San Diego. I print every invitation by hand on an antique letterpress—it's messy, time-intensive, and completely worth it.
Each piece of handmade paper gets the kind of attention your wedding day deserves, and because I only use eco-friendly materials, your invitations honor your celebration without harming the planet.

"Terra is such a hidden gem. The suites are the perfect way to get a super high-quality product at a reasonable price. And there are still options for customization. Would HIGHLY recommend."
Handmade Paper (Two Options)
Every single item I create is 100% eco-friendly—from the paper to the packaging. No plastic. No ribbons. No acrylic. Just invitations as kind to the planet as they are beautiful.
Choose seeded paper embedded with wildflower seeds—your guests can plant their invitations after your wedding. Or go with classic handmade paper, crafted from 90% cotton and 10% recycled fibers. Either way, because it's made to size, there's zero paper waste from the start.
Beautiful invitations that don't cost the earth
100% Recyclable, Compostable, or Plantable
Every piece of your suite can be recycled, composted, or planted. I don't use ribbons, acrylic, or plastic anywhere in my designs—just beautiful paper that returns to the earth.
Zero-Plastic Packaging
Your invitations arrive in reused boxes with paper padding. No plastic mailers, no bubble wrap, no ribbon ties. Thoughtfully packed, sustainably shipped.
I letterpress and foil print everything in-house without chemicals or solvents. And by printing exclusively on handmade paper, I keep paper waste to an absolute minimum.
printed by hand, one sheet at a time
Letterpress printing creates a tactile impression you can actually feel—the type presses into handmade paper, leaving a beautiful, dimensional result that digital printing can't replicate.
I run every sheet through my antique press by hand. It takes longer. It requires more attention. And it's worth it. Your invitations aren't mass-produced—they're individually crafted with the kind of care your wedding deserves.
